New independent living development on Runcorn High Street gets the green light



We are delighted to announce that our client Halton Housing has secured the green light for a new development on Runcorn High Street that will provide 66 much needed and affordable 1 and 2 bedroom homes for over 55s.

A scheme that supports independent living, the development comprises of 32 1-bed and 34 2-bed apartments.

The building will be constructed using MMC (Modern Method of Construction) and feature a lightweight steel frame. All units are to be kitted out with waist-height kitchens, hoist-adaptable bathrooms, a Salto telecoms system and all-electric heating and hot water systems, the development will be rated EPC-B for efficiency, meeting updated legislative standards.

We are proud to be providing the client with employers agent, cost management and principal designer support through to completion, which is estimated to be Spring 2026.
