On the former Neckermann site in Frankfurt am Main, a state-of-the-art data centre campus is being developed for Digital Realty (formerly Interxion). The large-scale project brings together what is currently Frankfurt’s largest data centre under one roof.
A holistic sustainability concept sits at the heart of the scheme, with a strong focus on retaining key structural elements. As a result, the project is a best-practice example of how existing building fabric can be repurposed sustainably for new data centre use.
