Development Management

Our Development Management services incorporates introducing, sourcing, bidding and securing land along with leading on assembling land and build packages for sales and affordable home ownership products across the UK.

From identifying opportunities through our extensive network of land agents, owners, promoters, developers and contacts, we carry out rigorous assessments of the new site opportunity to identify any implications including around its boundaries, identifying any challenges, abnormals, existing services etc. and undertake due diligence of reports and documentation. We then will engage with partners to procure any further surveys and outstanding information required including initial site massing options and assessing planning implications.

We undertake a number of option appraisals to inform viability of the site including production and review of demographic studies and understanding local housing needs and procuring and assessing market values/reports for sales to enable production of scheme GDVs.

Finally, we support you through negotiation and acquisition of sites with vendors/site owners, liaising with legals on Heads of Terms, T&Cs and DAs. We also help with the creation of Joint Ventures with Developers, helping Clients with negotiation of costs, programme and specification on potential package deals and driving schemes through the planning process.
